It is 25 kilometers from Keşan district of Edirne and 40 kilometers from Enez district. Located by the sea, the park was built in 1988 as a recreation area for the public. 10115 hectares of the park, which is built on an area of 1319 hectares, is a camping area and 3075 hectares is a daily use area.

The park consists of 162 units in total with 72 tent units and 90 auto camping units and has a daily capacity of 810 people in these areas. The daily use area has a capacity of 260 people and can serve a total of 1072 people.
