It is a fountain built of cut tuff stone material, with a single facade and without a reservoir. Hacılar Ezanı Fountain, which differs from the fountains of Edirne both in terms of its architectural structure and size, sits on a horizontal rectangular plan. There are construction and repair inscriptions on the façade. According to the construction inscription on the upper side of the façade, the building was built by Ahmet Aga in 1798 AD. Later, the fountain was repaired by Cezzar Mustafa Efendi in 1903.

Pilgrims' Adhan Fountain was a symbol of Edirne together with the prayer hall on the back façade. Before going on pilgrimage, pilgrim candidates would come here to recite the call to prayer and sacrifice. For this reason, the fountain was named after this place.
