Koru Mountains are located on the northern border of Gallipoli Peninsula. Koru Mountains, which descends to Ergene Basin, is one of the three most important elevations of Thrace. With its wildlife, it is the most important geography in Thrace after Yıldız Mountains. The species living in Koru Mountain are roe deer, wolves, foxes, wild boars, rabbits, partridges and pheasants. The forest structure includes red pine, black pine and oak communities.
