Lake Gala National Park is one of the most important wetlands in Turkey. It consists of 6,090 hectares in total, including 3,090 hectares of wetlands and 3,000 hectares of forested areas. In Lake Gala National Park, which has many contributions to nature; 163 bird species are seen, 46 species are native, 27 species are winter migrants and 90 species are summer migrants.
The best times to see all of the bird species here together are April, May in the spring season and September, October in the fall.
