Osman Inci Museum
Osman İnci Museum was opened in Karaağaç neighbourhood of Edirne on 25 November 2017. The museum, which was designed by interpreting the building facades and plan typology in the town of Karaağaç, was established by Osman İnci Bilim, Sanat, Kültür, Müzecilik ve Tur. ve Tic. A.Ş.
The building constructed on a 427 square metre plot located at the corner of 3rd Çayır Street and 1st Çayır Street in Karaağaç Quarter has 4 floors and the attic floor has been given a separate function. On the ground floor, there are Energy Room, Electronic Control and Surveillance Room, Booster Room, Staff Room and Art Gallery. In addition, the Art Gallery is equipped to function as a temporary exhibition, seminar, workshop, conference, scientific meeting and study room.
In addition to the oil, watercolour and lithographs collected over the years, ceramics, tiles, copper, wood and glass objects, fountain pen collection and toy car collection are exhibited in the museum. Prof. Dr. Osman İnci's awards and certificates of achievement, photographs, academic and administrative clothes as well as ethnographic family clothes and prayer rugs can be seen.
Journalist-writer Hasan Pulur's library and Prof. Dr. Vural Solok's books can be examined in the reading room. Exhibitions are held every month in the art gallery, the museum cafeteria offers quality service and books written by Osman İnci are sold.
The museum welcomes its visitors as a private museum.
