Hayali is one of the greatest poets of the 16th century after Fuzuli. His name is Mehmeti, his title is Bekar Memi. He was born in Yenice town of Vardar in Thessaloniki region. His death date is 1556-1557. His tomb is located in Uzunkaldırım next to the fountain which is thought to have been built by him. The walls are lightened with three large windows, two on the side and one at the head, fitted with iron pieces with locks. There is a gravestone and a capstone.
